I cant use any of the programs I have to get the Firmware off my phone, where can I get that firmware for...

I got my firmware here *****************don't know if that helps but if you have flashed or tried to load the programs 3 times or more you will have the same problem as me and have to start over by unblocking the counter block first before trying to do an unlock,this is mine and shows 51 and 53

Used the imei unlocker from top sony. No joy!
Was told that I needed to flash the phone with generic firmware to find the hidden menu option. Then, as my phone was CID 53, there wasn't generic firmware available for SE++, so I would need to use something else to flash it with...

You sure it's not there? I mean you can put in a foreign SIM where it says "insert correct SIM" and then enter <**< there. Or set up a security PIN on your SIM card, and when the phone powers up asking for the PIN, you can enter the sequence there.
Hard to imagine it's not there.
Thats the ticket - what I was missing... Put in a different SIM, and the missing option appears, and there is only one lock looking "locked". Now hopefully the kind people will send me an unlock code.
