Well, it does for me. I kept this setting as it was and changed some suboption instead to move the operator line away. Then I tweaked more to move the date up, the time down etc. so that it does not interfere with my wallpaper. It was trial and error, but now I am done. I think layout.xml is different for each phone (i got Z710), so your mileage may vary.

Yeah but it would me much better to place our own logos...I searched sense and topsony about changing the Operator logo but i didnt find anything useful..try search better tommorow...

I deleted the whole status indicator but the second shows? why?

Yep, this one is just an okay way to really get rid of it without the use of patches.
I did however have some problems getting it to work until i used a customized firmware model.

Has anyone tried this on K310i?
Would there be any restrictions why it wouldn´t work on my phone? Thanks!

its working on all se phones after k750i. I deleted the oplogon on my k510 and now on my w300i:) Since db2010, every se has layout.xml /i dont know how about older db2000 phones/, so you can delete it on k310:D

Well I just broke my w300i phone :(
I was following directions here
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=140652
When I ran XS++ I should of "ONLY flash your MAIN with w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw" I was in the wrong folder and ended up flashing it with "W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn". Now my phone wont turn on - I still can connect to it with XS++, is thier a way to fix it?
-
phew :)
I found another thread like this and found out I could reflash it with
W300i_R9A036_MAIN_GENERIC_JE_RED49.mbn - my phone is back up and working!
