now you have to go on the left side to /fs/tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/ and you will find the flash themes preinstalled on your phone like laura_splat and so on... then on the right side go to your flash menus folder and select all those you want to upload by right-clicking on them. they should be displayed in yellow. then type F5 and click "Copy" . when all transfers finished, on the left window double clik on ".." to exit all the folders until a red window prompts you to exit CSFS loaders. then click yes, close FAR manager, disconnect your phone, remove your battery, replace your sim card and M2 card, replace your battery, turn on your phone (in the case you haven't any flash theme just look after the themes i created ,don't forget to click thanks lol), and finally, enjoy!!!
OKAY! got all of that done! now i think i have one last problem. thx for everythin btw. uh, how do i change the menu on my phone? ive looked under themes, and display of settings but i cant find them anywhere. haha im such a noob.
How do I know if I can use Flash themes I have a folder for it but there is nothing in it? Oh and I have a W580i, and also when using a flash theme only changes the Desktop?
So just by changing something and deleting a file I can use flash on my Desktop? So if this "DisableFlashDesktop" file is not there does this mean I can use flash desktops with out having to do anything.Quote:

I tried SEus but it doesnot restore the original firmware after I flushed my W580i
so that means the original firmware is gone once it was flushed away.

i just uploaded fresh flash menus...go look after them and click thanks ;) don't remember i'm not the real creator of these themes they're just K800 themes that i edit to make it run very well with W580,light glows and flash menus ;)
when i tried to install flash menus i deleted the menu.ml so i could go into the menu but i could still use the walkman and call
then i flashed my phone with W580_R6BC002_FS_TAIWAN_RED52.fbn

but then i couldnt even go to my walkman or make calls

why did you delete menu.ml??? it has no link with flash menus...so search for a new menu.ml file over the forum or in the download section. if you can't find it, i think you have to re-flash your phone...but don't ever touch menu.ml file again...
wait i have the menu.ml but still after i re-flashed it with

if you flashed you fs you don't have flash menus anymore in your phone. try with an original theme if everything works then try to put new flash menus in it.
its not that i have flash menus in there but i cant acess them cuz when i get the to screen it says configuration error
ahhhhh okayy!! you must finalise your flashing. go to the tutos talking about it. you must use a cust pack you can download in topsony's download section.

I'm having trouble adding new flash menus.
I'm pretty sure I tar'd the .thm file right, used TUGzip, uploaded the .swf files to the phone using xs++3.0, etc. Edited the .xml file correctly also. I successfully debranded my w580i, but I cannot manage to use the club flash menu!!!! Here's what a portion of the Theme.xml file:

When I try to use the clubpulse theme, I get the following error: "File corrupt, cannot be used." I've tried multiple clubpulse.swf files ... and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've only tried the clubpulse theme with the clubpulse.swf. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First you have to make sure you really flashed the clubpulse flash menu in your phone. then in the xml file you must respect the fonts of the flash menu name:Quote:

@Mystik972: thanks for the response. Of course I payed attention to the case of the .swf file. Also, I used both xs++ and FAR Manager to upload the .swf to my handset. I'm really confused here. I just remembered I used the following:
main firmware:
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn
file system:
W580_R8BA024_FS_HONG_KONG_RED52.fbn
of course I used a custpack too for w580i. But I was wondering if this would cause a problem. I wanted to read chinese characters, so I used Hong Kong fs.
Another symptom which is wrong is that FAR Manager detects my phone as a k800 series.
Please help
@93bh: I'll look into lasyk theme creator, but I really want figure this out. I don't think I'm editing the .xml file wrong...
I thought I'd just clarify some more, if it'll help you guys out: it seems that the clubpulse.thm doesn't work on my phone...I tried some other non-animated theme and I was able to add a flash menu to the phone.
Does anyone know how I can get the animated themes (i.e. clubpulse.thm) to work? My w580i gives the corrupt error msg when I try to use them.

@MystiK972: hey I also tried using your flash themes that you uploaded around pg.2 ... unfortunately none of them work. I made sure I uploaded the proper .swf files to my phone using FAR Manager.
I know I can use flash themes, though, bc I flashed my phone and the three default themes work.
I'm thinking maybe I should just create my own flash themes like you did. What program did you use? How hard is it?
okay. are you sure you uploaded the swf files in the right path? /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/ ? for editing themes i use sony ericsson theme creator (original from Sonyericsson site). then for calling flash menus into the theme i simply do it under ubuntu which treats .thm files as a .tar archive. under windows you have to use tugzip to decompress your .thm files.
i've heard that using Lasyk Theme creator is easier to call flash menus in the theme. take a look on it ;) regards!
i've tested Lasyk Theme Creator and indeed it's better for creating themes calling flash menus. my ancient method was to decompress the .thm file under ubuntu, edit the .xml file and then re-compress the file into a .thm file... with LAsyk Theme creator just edit the theme with it and type the flash menu's name in a little box...and save it :)
@mystik: I'm sure the paths are correct ... and Themes Creator isn't doing me much good either :(

2. to debrand just flash in a main and fs and cust pack using XS++
3. for debranding plzz check out newb starter pack at se-nse
4. for flash menus .. plzz check out Far Manager tutorial at se-nse or topsony
5. upload files to correct location given here
6. get a theme coupled to the flash menus
7. hv fun

i ve done this yesterday. use xs++ 3.1, turn off phone, remove batery, open xs, hit conect, plug the phone holding c button and wait to recognize the phone.it should instal the flash drivers.go to fsx, start, go to flash folder and drag and drop the flash swf files in.wait to add.shutdown fsx and your done
