I thinks that th k800 looks better.
Don't like the silver buttons.
I've bought k810
very good moblie
I think the quality of camera is better than k880(just personal opinion) ^^
K810 is a k800 in a slimmer design~! hmm..... The K850 is a real update www.gsmarena.com
The camera not so good at the k810 - it has noise on the pics.
while the k800 one doesn't has it.
i have this phone , its cool - with debranding and flash themes
buttons it verry good , sms typing is fun :D
This phone (K810) has almost same spec. with K800i. I'd rather choose K850, the "brother" of K810, he..
But i feel strange with the keypad of K850
Which one is that? K850?
similar to k800 it i think but no edge i think? not sure
What is the actual difference between this and the k800?
just question iwant to know in media player of the K800 is there videos option to look videos with media player? be cause in media player of k810 only u can listen to music and you can't open videos!
also in k800 i have heard that you can zoom on video but i can't find such thing on k810 !
any answers?
can you explain how you zoom play_mania? thanks
@ahmedinan
I think it is the same
My boss has the K790, and when I showed him my K810, he said he liked it better. Although they are almost the same phone, the design of the rear case seems better on the K810. My boss told me (and I read this numerous times on forums and reviews) that the camera cover on the K790 would constantly open when in your pocket or purse or man-purse or bag, thus draining the battery. I've only had my K810 for almost a week, and I've put it in my rear pocket many times while walking around town, and this has yet to happen to me. I think the re-design was one of the main reasons as to why I held back on purchasing a K790, the camera lens cover being one of them.
thankyou but i'll wait k850i ^^ ..
Well It is a good phone,a friend does have one he like it realy much to :d but i do like k850 better :D
good work xD
but i have w200i =~~
i had k800i and i updated it to k810i firmware and it's the best thing i did...i suggest to you all if you have k800 to update it to k810...you won't regret it....=]
Hmm, for some reason k810i doesn't look so nice as k800i. Maybe it's because of new button desing. Is there any remarkable improvements in camera on k810i?
hi...!!! i am new in this forum....!!!
and i would like to ask you if k810i can take flash menus......
sorry if this question has answered before, but this forum is huge and i don't know where to find the answer to my question.....!!!! :p
nope K810 can't use flash menus.
K810 and K800 is like twins... everything on the inside is the same except for the case
awesome phone i have no complaints
Got the phone last month & my mate got Nokia N95. The N95 has loads of problems with the software, not to mention a battery that needs to be connected to the mains everyday (yes, it's a semi mobile phone! ).
If you want a phone that is GREAT as a phone (fully mobile) & does more & is a proper camera get the Sony Ericsson K810i.
If you want a flash but rubbish phone that tries to do everything & loses the plot along the way, get the N95 (the screen & 5MP camera are amazing - but you couldn't careless when you're on a phone call & it gives low battery warning).
The K810i even has 'spot metering' & you can do 'depth of field' shots where the bit you didn't focus on is blurred, like pro cameras! I kid you not.
There is a K850 with 5 Megapixel camera on the way, so you may wish to hold on to your money till then.
K810i = GOOD PHONE (Since it's still relatively new it could do with more language sets being available on the firmware).
very good phone
Advantages of the K810:
1) Thinner
2) Lighter
3) Newer Firmware ( in theory cause k800 is upgradable)
4) Better battery performance ( at least that's what they say)
Advantages of the K800:
1) Cheaper
2) Neutral design ( no weird soft keys as in K810i)
3) Firmware upgradable ( K800 to K810 !!)
4) CHEAPER
So if you dont care about having a bulkier ( thikker and heavier) phone and with 3 hours less talk time and 100 hour less stand-by time ( is that a fact?), why to pay more for the K810???
And by the way, if they are so alike, how come the difference in battery performance??
P.s.- And of course, the K850 KICKS Azs, but it got a price of a pocket PC Phone!!! What a shame...
i own a k800 and i don't think about change it to a k810 because of the money for sure =)) but if i had to chose in the first place for it i would chose the k810.
The keyboard is better with that kind of buttons, and the back of the phone is designed better is a little slimmer and the camera wont open in your pocket every time.
It's basically the same as k800 functions but different looks and built differently
how come K810 and K800 and K790 are so similar? except the 3G, why make like three phone that is basically the same? so it's just for 3G? and they release a new phone..
Well i really like this phone :) i just want a good camphone and i prefer this one than k800. yeah it has its similarities but k810i is newer right? so why buy the old one? lol
Yes and I bet everyone else would if the prices were like the same. Anyways I'm thinking of buying the K810i, because it's newer and the main thing its more stylish than the K800i IMO.
Hi,
Does anybody have actual hands-on reviews for this phone? Is text messaging easier with this phone vs the k800? The keypad does seem funky, but I was thinking it might have been designed that way for easier dialing/texting.
Any comments?
IMO it feels normal really. I own the K810i and have had ago on the K800i, K810i buttons feels small but quite easy to press, it depends how big your thumb is or whatever finger you use to push the buttons really.
k800=k810 :) :) :) :)????
Yeap, same thing with some tweaks here and there.
