w910 walkman key

i think is the main filesystem's fault as well.but dont want to pay the extra so i will wait for the official release from SEUS.i use the original theme which looks cool with the wheel like spinning with the icon.

yeah my firmware is the same as yours r1ca029.i guess as always the first release will be very very buggy!lol

Well, I bought the W910i about 8 days ago. It is branded Vodafone, I live in Italy, so here it is impossible to buy unbranded phones...

Immediately I had the famous bug regarding the continuous restarts, so I call the shop and tell about this. Showing a great competence they say the battery should be charged 15 hours the first time...the same stupid thing all the shop tell you when you buy a new phone. Anyway, I look over the internet and I found that a complete reset could resolve the problem. I did it and the phone works great until yesterday. Now I cannot enter the games menu, the application menu and the walkman button on the top of the phone, and the same menu option, don't work. I see this problems are common among us, but I cannot understand why I have 7 day with no problems and now I cannot play games. I don't know if it's useful, but yesterday I transfer music to my phone for the first time (4 complete CDs) and then I have the problem. I tried to do another complete reset, delete all the games and music from the memory card, but the problem persists.

I have R1CA029 prg12009124_VODAFONE_SH R1CA029 software version and my phone was builded in W40.
I tried to update via SE update program but it don't find any new version.


Today I changed my phone at the shop. It looks like it's all ok, no restarts and all works fine. Now I fear to transfer some music from pc to phone..but I must, hoping this time all will be ok.

It seems everyone has the problem with the firmware R1CA029 and are waiting if there is an update. Mine w910i deleted all my apps, games and now I can't use the Walkman buttton too even from the menu only it works if I play the music by going in Media then minimize it go to the menu and choose walkman or you can use the walkman button but that totally sucks. I have all the games back and Music Mate 4 isn't working because when it is loading it doesn't finish loading. If someone wants the games tell me. But only Vrally is not the same, but marble madness 3d is the same and lumines is the same.

I have the same problem with my w910i, my phone jammed zo i pulled out the battery to shut if off, and sinds then all my apps & games are gone and my Walkphone button didn't work.

What i did was update the firmware with Sony Ericsson Update Service and after that the Walkman button started to work again, as well as the media player and stuff. But i still don't have my apps + games back. But well, though life haha.

The better thing all of you can do is to DEBRAND your phone with DaVinci (10 Euros) and then update FW with SEUS.

I'm italian (PARMA) and i can assure u that ALL italian BRANDINGS like TIm or VODA SUCKS!

I'm having the sane trouble with my W910i. Firstly, the walkman key stopped working, and now my phone locks up when I turn it on. It just seems to crash as soon as it boots to the main screen...

Updated using SEUS, but still same problem...
