Sony Ericsson S500: Emotion vs Reason

The review praises the keypad which I'm sure everyone at this point knows had manufacturing issues when it was released. The keypad is very flat - most of my friends describe it as too flat. My girlfriends can't use it effectively because of their nails; the guys don't complain about that issue as much.

If you have the S500i I would highly recommend using the W580i firmware on your phone. The hardware is virtually identical with a small difference in features. Using the firmware gives the S500i the superior Walkman media player instead of the clumsy one that is built in.

Mysterious Green is the nicest version imo. It would be cool if the phone looked up your weather information online and adjusted the flash themes to match it (e.g. raining outside and the flash theme shows rain). The way it is now is random.

i have buy the s500i in contrasted copper for my mum and thats nice ^^

I love my silver K750i. :D

now that is just YOUR opinion :) realy reviewers only say things about how the phone works and if it's good quality or not, opinions don't belong there.

s500 is a very beatiful phone, bright screen and vivid colors, nice design, but, there is a but....the numeric keypad cracked, the buttons split in 2 pieces.I thinck this is a - for this phone

I bought s500 , I am not satisfy
It s keypad brake and I have a charging problem , I charge it 2 times everyday:(:(:(:(

the looks are great!!! but quite pricey though!!

I think the w760 is going to blow the s500 and the w580 away. It's a way better phone than either one of the two, has a better camera, is just as stylish, AND has a better keypad so texting wont be so cramped and the keys won't crack

Although I'd STILL love to get a c902 (or the future c905) more than the w760

god, i hate that phone
