Also remember that USB flash drivers have to be installed. If you had Sony Ericsson Update service intalled the flash drivers should also be installed but if you uninstalled Sony Ericsson Update Serivice (SEUS) they would maybe be gone. So install SEUS to make sure the flash drivers are installed.
Also make sure you are holding "c" BEFORE you plug in the phone.

When i use the XS++, they say did not recieve 0x5a or something. What to do now?
One time i got access and when i tried to backup GDFS, they say cannot. don't know why. They say cannot open GDFS???

use se tool lite v1.1 dont play around with ur gdfs u can make it worse
try it again.. but before you connect the phone take off the battery first then put it back,.. now press the "connect" button.. hold "c" while putting the usb cable..Quote:

I have gotten a milestone i think. now my phone starts up and shows the sony ericsson logo. then it moves to a please wait screen with a loading bar. It progresses until a certain point where it stops and does not continue. So now my phone is not working. I tried waiting for hours but the bar doesn't move. So now what?
