XS++4.1 supports CID53 - but only for Linux ;)
We know that since 2.08.2008
I am about to flash my K800i for the first time.
I am in Scotland, UK.
Can someone confirm if I have the correct .MBN and FS files.
K800_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52.fbn
K800_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED52.mbn
If not, please advise.

if you do have a cid52 phone, it is a good choice to use that but you will need customization pack but it is better to use the R8BA024 versionQuote:

ok does flashing remove the phone lock? i was given the phone & i dont know the lock code

It works fine until it restarts every like 20 sec.
And its says "Only emerg. calls" So I cant call or send messages / internet or anything!

I have already flashed my phone (W580i) before but had to use the master reset (cant remember y) but then the flash menus and walkman themes got deleted and i tried to get stuff back again but it wouldn't detect the phone
so i tried to flash it again but when i hit the flash button i get this:

Apparently I need to use FAR+jdflasher, I've read some guides and know how to do. BUT, how do you backup GDFS in FAR?
It won't work in XS++, I just get a message saying "Sorry, your phone is NOT SUPPORTED".
