the best thing to do is debrand it first and then unlock after debranding. Use generic MAIN and FS with custpack, your downloaded main does not generate as it might be due to the branded firmware, or try to look the vkp file in "c:/documents & settings/user" foler where user is the user name of the current profile
Hmm... ok, so now i did some stupid thing again. I think I bricked his mobilephone.
The phone wont start. And it wont connect with either xs++ nor setool2lite any more.
any advices would be great :s
reinsert battery and try to connect again, also please check if battery is out of power or not, if so try with other fully charge battery

dude, Recovery button is not for Setool2lite, it is only for Setool with box and not the lite version, just reflash the MAIN, FS and custpackQuote:

You should use:
K770_R8BC004_MAIN_GENERIC_VI_RED52
K770_R8BC004_FS_EUROPE_3_RED52 and as a custom file
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_12_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_3(assuming your friend doesn't need italian language).

Hello , thanks for this well detailed guide, but ive been busting my chops here for the last 3 hours trying to find the mbn file that i can use with the k610i unlock (also known as db2020 cid 52) Ive been in the download section and the only files there i found (i need region 2 europe) is a fbn file, can someone pleeeeeease tell me where i can get the correct mbn file , or show me to a thread or something that can help me create it..
also in my qamaker folder there is not any qamaker.exe, is that only in the full version ? :S
Edit : After some more soulsearching i found the mbn file, but there is no qamaker in my setool2lite folder, ive tried several mirrors , anyone have a mirror that has everything i need there.
Your antivirus considers qamaker.exe suspicious . Disable it while downloading, then add it to exclusions.
ok thanks hyperion for the tip, but were can i find the main generic file.. ok never mind i gonna try with google ;)
