Flash K800 CID53 with K810 software CID53 (for begginers)

Tutorial is superb but I have a problem - when press "C" and plug in the cable - got the message that timeout has expired (after the progress barr gets to the end).
When connecting the phone have the prompt to install SEMC driver and none of the downloaded drivers seems to fit. I got the message "Disable or Skip".

Can any one tell me which particular "inf" should I use to help my laptop and phone to talk to each other? :)

I have W2000 runing on Dell Latitude D400.

Also have a lot of experience but this seems of no help :)

all you need is to put the driver that u downloaded (ggsemc.sys) into C:\windcows\drivers.

When u get a window with a progress bar which asks you to plug in your phone, just hold C and plug it in. Keep holding it and it should be detected

Post log from XS++ here,than will be able to help you.

after flashing my phone, all is wonderful but i notice the first row of numeral keys in the keypad(1,2,3) have no led backlight. it is off.

should i re-flash it? thats the only problem i've seen so far.

my phone was originally a EUROP_2 , i flashed with HONG_KONG rom.

i tried to flash with EUROP_2 k810 rom,
screen flashing:eek:,
then i flashed HONG_KONG K800,
all fine,
flash HONG_KONG K810,
screen flashing.:confused:
i have to flash back to HONG_KONG K800 RED53.

what should i do to flash it to HONG_KONG RED53 K810?

Well, download the required firmware files and folow the tutorial in the first post (at the beginning of this topic). You should be able to flash it to that firmware then.

Using XS++ on CID53 DB2020 phones will not help you. It still doesn't have the support for CID53 flashing. I mean the new version should have it, but the current one does not. So JdFlasher is the only tool that can help you flashing your phone for free.

I have used JdFlasher and followed the "operational instructions" from the first post, but the screen keeps flashing (through the flashes I can see the normal screen and phone is responding but slow and flashing). I haven't received any error at any point.

The package I used is SE_EUROPE.
K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED53.mbn
K810_R8BA024_FS_S_E_EUROPE_RED53.fbn
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_3_R9A_GENERIC_S_E_EUROPE - custom
K800_lighteffects

I flashed it back to K800 and it works but is locked.
It seems that K800_lighteffects did not work for my phone...
Any ideas?

THX, I managed to find the correct DRV package and solved it but stuck in... previous post :)
