w580 o2unlock help??

hi iv followed the tutorial and everything seemed 2 work ok apart from my phone just says inactive sim when i put my o2 sim in it (which works fine on my w810)

You Have Only Debranded Your Phone Which Remove The Operators Crap Stuff. In Order To Use Another SIM, You Need To Unlock It Via Patch. See Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums

i hav already done this.. before applying the patch the phone would just say incorrect sim, now the phone starts but it says inactive sim.. it seemed 2 patch ok there was no errors everything seemed fine but it still only works on vodafone!!
any ideas??
