Hi hows it going? Well I have a w300i and the external lcd goes blank after about 2 seconds of closing the phone and the internal screen goes white a and i have to close and reopen the phone a couple of times...I did a lot of reading about it and I flashed the .mbn and .fs with several different ones all of them brought no change to the screens. Any other ideas of what i can do to fix them? Thank you....
This sounds like a hardware problem, you should take the phone apart & check the flex ribbon they are known to spilt
Will do that as soon as i get home....know anywhere with some directions on that? Thank you.
Try searching yahoo for a w300 service manual, basically carefully unscrew the phone and check the flex ribbon for splits and also check it hasn't come lose.
