Corrupted something...W810i

Hey everyone,
first post here :)

To make a long story short... I was following this guide to get flash menus on my cingular branded w810i without debranding: HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - [TUTORIAL] Cingular w810i - debranded features without debranding

It worked the first time, and I loaded up some nice menus

I went to repeat the procedure (to load up more menus) and Far crashed on me. :mad:

I re-flashed (everything seemed to work) but the phone would not boot afterwards. -A white screen shows up for a second, then turns back to black

When I now connect my phone to XS++, I now get a weird log:

I do not have a GDFS backup from before making the modifications (stupid me for not making one)
However, I can still read/backup the GDFS now (I don't know if it's corrupt or not)

Does anyone know what may be wrong with my phone.

Your GDFS is damaged.
If you made a GDFS backup before the fatal flashing attempt you can restore it and everything should be fine.
If you haven't got a backup your phone is a brick.

if a GDFS backup is made and then edited and uploaded to the phone, wouldn't it work?

How do you mean edited? If you made a GDFS backup, before all this happend, then you can restore your GDFS. If not, then you have a bricked phone.

if its a Cingular branded phone, take it to your nearest at&t store and tell them that all of a sudden it stopped working. they might be able to flash or replace your phone, although it might not be too moral.

your other option is to contact SE and see if you can send the phone to them for a GDFS flash.

Thanks for all the responses...

The only reason I attempted modding my W810i is because I had already purchased a new W580i.
I was just wondering if there was any way to bring my W810i back to life.
If not, it's no big deal.

Got the same problem with my W850i. Tried reparing EROM then flashing firmware, and now all I get is 6 x blinks from the LED under the power button. Anyone any ideas how to fix this?
