Sony always wants that users buy original sony accessories and sets electronic measures to prevent using other accessories than sonys original stuff.
I realy dont like this. e.g the Memory Stick or batteries of camcorders.
Furthermore Sony accessories are more expensive than others.
What you think about this politic?
It's totally fucked up in my opinion. But well, this is Sony. They always have been like that and always will be. It's the same politic with new standards. They use Memory Stick instead of SD, tried it with Minidisc (not successful though), Beta and VHS, standard of DVDs, BluRay...
They're not one bit better than Microsoft in that point.

Even I Completely Agree With What Justme Said. Sony Is Doing That Shit In Other Thing Too Like Their Vegas Series, Soundforge Series etc. Just As Example They Are Using Their Own Codecs In Rendering Files Which Arent Compatible With Other Encoders.
