DEAD Z610i
I tried to power on my pohne when it came up with WSOD. Trying to be clever i tried to reflash the firmware to fix it, but the wire came loose during reflash. Now my z610i wont turn on! when i connect it to XS ++ and SE TOOLS its recognised but disconnects after roughly 30 seconds.
SEUS tries flashing my firmware until it gets to about 3% then says update failed.
What should i do?
Thanks
Joel.....

What error do you get when the phone disconnects after 30secs?
Please post up the logs (also the one of the flashing process when you undeliberately unplugged the phone).

Uh oh...looks like a damaged GDFS :(
The log is stored in your SE Tool folder.
-
nope cannot find it!!!!!! Is a damaged GDFS BAD???????
can it be fixed is the main thing?????
-
There should be a folder called "Logs" in your SE Tool folder. In this folder you'll find textfiles named Session0([DATE]_[TIME]).txt.
A bricked GDFS can't be fixed on CID52 phones. If the GDFS is really damaged you would have to replace the flash IC in order to bring the phone back to life.
-
does this mean buying wotang credit or davinci credit and doing it.?????
if so can you do me a little how to so i know what i have to do! As i have NO clue
-
this is only log i could find that is slightly relevent!!!

No, you can't do anything with software. The IC is a part of the phones mainboard. You need special equipment to desolder it.
The only thing you could try is to give it to a service center without mentioning that you've tried to flash it yourself.
