K800i Shutter Firmware?

Hey all,

Just got a K800i yesterday, very pleased.

Unlocked and debranded today, all great. However the camera shutter sound is unable to turn off, due to the regulation in countrys such as Australia.

However here in UK the K800i's come with the ability to turn off shutter sound.

Anyway, I'm gonna re-flash it with a Firmware of another country, maybe EU so to have a version which allows the shutter sound to be turned OFF.

Anyone have any idea which firmware I should use, and that will have the ability to turn off shutter sound?

The ability to silence the shutter sound is controlled in the customization, not the firmware itself. Edit the file tpa/preset/custom/Customize.xml in the custpack and set <suppress-camera-sound>true</suppress-camera-sound> inside <camera>.

Use The Method "Uploading Files Via FSX" Here And Go To FS/tpa/preset/system/sound And Delete Files "camerashutter.3gp,cameraburst.3gp,cameraburst .mid and cameratimer.mid". All The Files That Are Containing *camera* Must Be Deleted.
