fuzzy earpieces are normally a hardware issue, not a software one. WHat you should do is reflash it with generic firmware and if this doesnt fix it then take it back to where you got it. Dont tell them its been flashed and debranded. Claim it was like that when you got it ONLY if they ask. I have sent a flashed and debranded o2 phone back under the o2 warranty and noone even batted an eyelid! Denial is a great defence!
Hardware Problem. Get Your Earpiece Checked. Most Probably It Will Need A Replacement.
hi, i updated it using SEUS and although it wiped off everything (including undoing the simlock- which by the way was meant to be a full unlock and not a patch unlock!) and put the t-mobile branding back on, it also didnt fix the problem so at least i can take it back to the shop now. thanks, kristian
Hmmm.... I have the same trouble. I've changed 2 earpieces, but on loud sounds it's fuzzing. Also tried to change acoustic drivers. Strange problem.
Have you tried cleaning the holes for the earpiece with compressed air? My W800i had dust in the earpiece cover for a while, and it sounded fuzzy (the dust vibrates around).
carsncars, I've bought 2 new earphones and replaced the old one. The same result. Maybe something wrong with amplifier, eh?
