Help Unlocking K750i CB2010 CID 36
I have a K750i CB2010 CID 36 locked to the Orange UK network, and wish to be able to use it on O2 instead. I've tried using a .vkp patch generated by SimLockPatchGen with GFlash, but it didn't work.
I'm not sure if I'm using the correct main firmware, I made the .vkp patch with K750_R1CA021_MAIN_EU_1_CL_RED36, but looking on my phone it states EU_3, which I can't find the firmware for.
Any help would be appreciated!
Read info from your k750i
First of all, read the info of your mobile with any software like xs++, kkclient, seking, after that you need the same firmware with the same CID or if you prefer debrand, choose to download any firmware you want with the same cid (not OTP CID).
For example:
Hold 'C' or '@' (some PDA) key and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: DB2020 Series
Phone IMEI: 35xxxxxx-xxxxxx-x
Color: Red ; OTP CID: 49
EROM CID: 49
Phone Model: K800i
Operator: EUROPE_2
CDA: CDA102511/49 R6A
Phone Firmware: R1ED001
This is what I get with kkclient, EROM CID in this case is 49, so firmware as to be CID 49 and version R1ED001.
Anyway for K750i CID36 I advise you to use free unlocking software such as setool or semc8.4 (but you need a service cable like 4in1 cruser cable)
