No e-mail for 2 days, abysmal support from wotan

I need to flash my phone so I bought a credit using Paypal 2 days ago, and I am still waiting for the e-mail with the password... The transaction is completed and everything is green, but no e-mail...

I opened a ticket, but the admins on the site haven't even bothered to respond. Is this lack of support normal with wotan?

If I don't get a reply by tomorrow I will post a fraud ticket with Paypal.

Anyone got any other suggestions?

I'm in the same boat - Paypal completed, submitted a ticket, still no response. I ended up just downloading the software and files (X++ v.3, USB Flash Drivers, SEUS, FS, Main, and custpack).

I think I spent about four hours the other night researching the process to find good tutorials. The best help was from akshayy.com - I watched the video tutorials he has. Took all of 6 minutes to get my w580i debranded.

Good luck with the Wotan/Paypal situation. Hopefully we can both get refunded.

I did the same as you... I had to do a few hours of research, and I downloaded XS++ and the firmware I needed. The firmware was not easy to find, but in the end I found a torrent with all SE firmwares.

This fixed my phone, and it now works perfectly.

I would never again use wotan, or any other service of that type, and I would not recommend anyone buying credits from them. Instead, just use wotan to find out which firmware you need for your phone, download it from the torrent, and then just use XS++ to flash the firmware to your phone. Easy once you know how it's done. Good luck all.

I finally got my credit, not that I need it anymore. It took more than one week from the day I wrote the ticket until they responded. Bad service, don't use them.

I got no email from them either, so the next day I went to the lost password part of the site and entered my email address for lost information....got an email back in about 2 mins !!!!

Then stupidly flashed R8BC004 into my K800i :-( now I can't use the very top buttons to view my pictures... hope it's fixed in R8BF003 !!

I'm in a sad situation with my phone... :eek:
