It's working fine on my K800i, but I don't view any videos yet, because I don't have unlimited data plan. But it seems to be good.

does watching the video requires internet?

Definately!!! How Can You Watch An Online Video Without Internet. However WLAN, PAN, EDGE, GPRS etc May Be Used.
