Seus
I am having some problems with SEUS. When I run it, it says checking for updates, and then goes to the Reigon Select Screen. Whenever I select a reigon, any reigon, the mouse becomes an hourglass and keeps on rotating and rotating for hours and hours. Once it kept on rotating for 18 Hours. The Screen never changes! I tested it on three different computers, and the same thing happened on all three.
I am using dial-up. Could this be a problem? I mean it shouldn't, as in Sony's website they say that for SEUS you PREFERRABLY need DSL.
one more thing, although it's irrelevant in this forum but I am also having a problem with Flash Themes which don't have a .thm file.
To create a .THM file for those flash themes which don't have one, say, Musaic.swf, I take the .THM file of, say clubbeat.swf. Then I rename the clubbeat.thm extension to clubbeat.TAR. I open it with WinRar, and Extract all the files to a new folder. Now I take the theme.xml file and open it with notepad. I rename (in line 4) "cubbeat.swf" to "Musaic.swf" (I understand it's Case Sensitive). Then I save it close it. Now I select all the files in the new folder (including theme.xml) and add them to a .rar archive. I rename the .rar archive from newfolder.rar, to Musaic.thm, and then I have a .THM file for the flash menu Musaic.
Now when I insert this .THM into the theme folder( i have already copied the Musaic.swf to the relevant folder through XS++). When I click change theme and select Musaic, I get an error message, File corrupted.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Hi, the fact that SEUS stops responding on all three PCs, *if* all these PCs are on the same LAN is probably due to a firewall. Check your firewall network settings.
On a second chance, maybe all three PCs are using the same local firewall application or security suite (symantec and so on), if yes, check this (turn 'em off for the update)

I Got Your Problem,
Even I Had Same Problem And I Did Two Things Which Solved My Problem. Although Any One Of Them Was The Cause But I Did Both.
1. Turn Your Antivirus Or Firewall Or Both Off For Timebeing.
2. Now Install Adobe Flash Player. Although You Installed It But You Need To With Another Method.
Follow For Installing:
First Install Latest Player From Adobe Using INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY.
Your Problem Is Most Probably Vista. Even If It Is Not Keep Continuing.
Browse To C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
Now Right Click FlashUtil9d.exe And select Run As Administrator And Click Continue On Vista uac Box. Just Double Click If XP Or Other Than Vista.
It Will Say An Update Is Avalaible. Hit Install Now Let It Update. Would Take Seconds
You Are Done.
Now You Can Use SEUS Without Any Interruptions.
Please Reply If It Helps.
