Any Apple users connecting to phones

Just wondering if anyone is using there MAC with the Sony Cell phones?

I've only used the Bluetooth feature so far.

I use my actual phone (k770) with iSync (written my own plugin), iPhoto and iTunes (iTune requires a little free script called iTuneMyWalkman) but I don't think my Mac could be used to flash firmware etc.

my actual phone z310 is wonderful in style, is bad in the functions

I have a sony ericsson w580i and wondering if any has connected to the internet from the phone via bluetooth internet sharing.

mac sucks... they got style but no taste

I have k790i and i use it with mac leopard(10.5.1).It is detected by the mac without any problem and driver.it is function as both modem and Ethernet Emulation(usb internet should be on).using it as a modem we have to only change the vendor to sony ericsson.But Ethernet Emulation also works great without no problem and also it is easy to use to connect to internet.But flashing driver does not exits in mac.

I got mac and they cant debrand it

benalvino, please do not turn this forum into a mac vs pc war. i doubt you even try a mac, except walk into an apple store to get your ipod and touch it once or twice. this is a cell phone forum.

As for mac with w580i. depending on which version of isync you 've. if you've the older isync, you can try some free plugins some user created like from mroach and blogo.biz/?p=16 otherwise you may need to pay a little for a plugin at feisar.

As for flashing, yeah there isn't any flash driver for mac. The reason is too obvious to explain.

Oops. forgot to mention. The above is referring to using USB cable. If you're using bluetooth. you don't need those driver. mac can actually detect your w580i with bluetooth without problem.
