Upgrade w580i firmware!!!!

I need to upgrade my w580i with the latest firmware..

I have checked this website and came to knw the latest firmware is R8BA024_RED52.

I need to knw how to upgrade my firmware(Tutorial wil be helpful).

Also wat is cust_pack?? Shuld I need it too??

Also wat is FS and Main for..

Sorry I am a noob in this..Pls clarify.

I hv got these FS and MAIN files.. Can I use the following ????

Yes, you can use this two files, but don`t forget to finalize your phone.You need a custom pack. You can see here , which one fits your phone:

And how long will it take to upgrade the firmware???

You can use this in xs++ , but sometime is happend that this one don`t work. It takes about 15-20 minutes. That long took by me ( full flash - main, filesystem and custom file ).

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO TO UNLOCK MY PHONE.

Read the first post of this thread, and follow the guide: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

W580i can only unlock by patch (if you want to do it by yourself). Try to make your service unlock it for you. AT&T unlock mine.
