Walkman AND camera at the same time?

Hi,

I've upgraded my K610i to W660 (flashed).

The problem is that phone stops responding if I try to access walkman.
It has something to do with camera... If I remove camdriver, walkman works. Also, if I run FaceWarp in background, walkman works (so as facewarp).

My question is can I somehow set it to work normally, as it should?

You cant make it work normally, after all its a K610 forced to be a W660.
What you can do is patch phone such that cam driver is moved to other/drv and then delete/paste the camdriver from your phonw whenever oyou wish to operate either.

As I am still newbie (I started flashing my phone yesterday :P), I would be grateful if any of you told me exactly how do I do what abmadman said. Or, at least provide me with links (I would search, but I don't know what to search exactly :/)

u can find a patch ( would've given it to u if i had it ) that changes the location of ur camdriver to ur phone memory, just look for *.vkp patches for w660 i think
u apply that patch using setool2lite, and keep a copy of the driver on the phone in a safe location
and whenever u need to use the camera i'd have to copy the driver to the location on the phone memory
and when ur done u would have to delete it from the phone memory folder

Its a russian site and you'll need to register and use the google translator. It has huge but well organised patch database for almost all phones.
Use setool2 lite to patch it. The tutorial for this can be found in the tutorials section.

ae_13 not exactly. Does it mean that whenever I must use camera, I had to go over and over file copying procedure, that also requires my phone to be hooked up with my PC?

abmadman, I can't seem to find any patches there. Moreover, I can't find any patches for W660i anywhere :/

does the same problem apply to W-series phones? as in, taking pictures with the player on?

You can´t use camera and walkman... :( I must delete both camdrivers, because i wanted Walkman 2,0 but i lost camera... :mad:

Thanks everyone, but today I brought a decision to switch it back to K610i firmware. I don't want any troubles - now, I even find flash menus boring :P
