First you should look at this and download this program:
xs++
Then conect your phone to xs++ and copy here your phone log.

you can debrand it you need xs++3.1 a main firmware in .mbn format fs(filesystem) firmware in .fbn format and a custpack,

This is what I tried doing to the phone using XS++ :
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn
W580_R8BA024_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52.fbn
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_106_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1
Result? FUBAR!
I am assuming I need CDA102774/102.... right?
Also, why in the log does it say Firmware Version: R7AC001 ??
Did it not update to R8BA024 ??
What am I doing wrong here?
My main objective is to install something with a Polish language pack, and get rid of all the AT&T stuff on the phone.
Sorry for the noob questions, but I am kinda stuck at this point.
here's a stupid question, sorry new and trying to learn. I have a w580i, provider Rogers and from Canada, when i look up w580 CDA list my software code is CDA102774/87 R10A however the list only has CDA............../84 and /88. I don't see my serial /87. Again still trying to understand and figure this stuff out.

Now see, I'm confused. I initially debranded my Att w580 with Wotan. Then because Wotan didn't have R8BA024 available, I used Setool2lite to reflash again. Then not happy (sue me, I'm compulsive) with the Asia firmware that I used with Setool2lite, I came here and used XS++ to flash W580_R8BA024_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52.fbn and the Laura_i_CDA102774_20_R1A_Generic_Trade_USA.zip custpack. Everything worked great.Quote:
