W660 Radio performance

Hy there!
I am a new (proud) owner of a SE W660.
After one week I went to service the phone because I was (an I still am) disappointed with its radio performance. To get into more details I think this model lacks in FM stereo sensibility - you won't get stereo reception unless the signal is very strong.
I also have a SE J120 and its radio tuner is amazing in comparison with the W660 radio.
Can anyone tell me if there is a hardware difference between a J120 and W660 radio tuner?
PS: The service only updated my phone Main and FS to the latest available versions. No audible change in radio reception though.

SE J120 is based on radio, w660 is based on walkman, i think J120 has a strong tuner, w660 is a litle bit weaker :D

I was hoping it is only a software difference, not a hardware one. It seems like a compromise one have to make.

You May Get A Little Better Quality By Turning The Sound Mode To Mono But You'll Miss Stereo Sound Effects.

i ddont like the radio too much

I am using W660i and there is no problem with the radio. But I must admit that the main feature of J120 is radio.

I wish that SE in the future would include the radio antenna into the phone, rather than using the earset as an antenna. I would like to use the radio feature on my internal speaker...

There is a patch which allows you to use to radio without the external antenna but you still have to touch the connectors with your fingers...
