Operation Failed
Lately I have not been able to go into the games or apps. Every time I have tried I have gotten an error that says "Operation Failed". I've already tried flashing it but nothing changed. It still gives me the same error. I've tried googleing this and I guess its something that has happened quite a few times. In every post on different forums I have seen with this, I don't think I saw any real solution to the problem, except people said they used wonton, except I don't see how thats any different than me using xs++. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into this problem. Nothing else is wrong with the phone, just can't play games any more.

Did the games come with the phone?
if no, you got it from somewhere, and the games corrupt?
-
No it has nothing to do with the games itself. I mean I'll go to the menu, I'll press on Entertainment, and then in that when you press Games to see the list of games, I get the error Operation Failed rather than a list. Same with the Apps.

i think u shuld delete the games from my stuff then try to go into the entertainment the games
try that it might work

Well I don't know if it would make a difference, but they are all stored on my MS, so I've tried just pulling that out rather than uninstalling them, and i still get that error. And it comes up fast. That error loads up faster than any other window on the phone.

I had exactly the same problem with my W850i. I tried master reset, but I was unable to solve the problem.
Finally I decided to flash the phone and it can run java applications and games again. I recommend you to flash your phone.

Yea, I eventually had to. I found out just reflashing the main did nothing so i had to go and flash the FS as well. That sucked and was exactly what i was trying to avoid. I had to spend like an hour or two getting my phone back to the way i liked it.

u should just back up the files that you need and then make a complete debrand

Try to move as much files (ringtones, themes, apps, games, etc.) as possible to your MS. You can also back up your contacts in the MS through the advance options. In that way you will have all that information back after flashing the phone.

Well there was more to it than just files that needed to be backed up, I needed to add extra languages that weren't included in the FS as well as take some off, put on some patches, modify the layout, fix the settings to allow for different things (mms and such), just a lot of things like that that get completely errased when i flash the FS
