USB port connection failed and battery exhausting in very short time

The USB port of my W850i is not working any more, and the battery(BST-33) exhausts in 10 hours without any music, radio, phone call or messages.

The whole thing is as following, I upgraded the mainboard of my desktop computer one week ago. I made a mistake when I connect the wiring of front USB panel to the mainboard of computer. I connected the positive wiring to cathode and the negative wiring to anode of the mainboard. Then when my W850i plug in the USB panel, it happened as I described in the beginning. I have to charge the battery everyday, it drives me crazy.

Could someone please advise me what's the problem, can it be repaired? Does it caused by the battery or something is wrong on the mainboard of my phone? And can you evaluate the cost. Thank you.

How are u charging the phone now? using USB from computer or using charger from mains?

How the heck did u manage to connect positive wiring to cathode and the negative wiring to anode ANYWAY? the USB panel comes with a connector of its own as far as i know, unless u made it urself...

well... if ur phone's still working, doubt it being faulty... a change in battery would revert back extended battery life

I use my charger from mains as usual, but the power is losing too fast. could you please provide me a service mail address of sony Ericsson. I want to ask them for advice.

Hi man. Your battery or charging IC maybe are screwed. There is a third option - your PA (power amplifier) but i doubt it. U can try to charge your battery on other SE phone and put it back to your W850i. Good luck.
