How to change splash?

wow do i change the Splash screen, the one whit SE logo coming up when i start the phone?

I got a k810i

is it flash i use ore jus a gif picture?

splash it's a *.png or *.jpg file, but You must remove the extension. In K810 it's 240x320.

localisation: tpa/preset/system/settings

Here You can also change an animation which is after entering a PIN code and animation which is after turning off the phone ;)

But splash is animated, and png and jpeg isn´t...
That i know! Got a costume STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC

But i wanna change the one i get starting up, and shuting down!
Is that the same pic btw?

No. Splash it's a SE logo. It isn't animated. Animated is startup file (STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC) ;)

STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC and SHUTDOWN_IMAGE_SEMC are normal *gif without extension...

man... so stupid! you right... i mixe up the one shuting dow, whit the one startup.. ok ok, now i got it! so i can basicly get any jpg or gng pic as i want as splash?

just ren it to SPLASH and use far and it´ll work?

Yes. The same like in K750/W800 ;)

btw, You can change also sound when You are turning on the phone.

Got nice Vista start and shutdown sounds!

Now im gotta try change the splash.

hmmms.... downloaded an jpg 240x320 ren it splash then done cmd.exe ren splash.jpg splash and then used far to get it in phone! pub did´t show up @ start!

what did i wrong??
