I wonder why most the phones or MP3 players out there offers only FM radio but not AM? Is there anyway you can make it work with AM? :)

I very much doubt it, am reception is always a bit iffy anyway, but you can only go by the specification on this as I think it takes a different tuner, and different antenii to get good reception on am.

Thanks for your response. In the pre-CD era almost all the walkman comes with AM/FM tuner without special antena, (although the reception was iffy, it did work!) That's why I wonder why the current generation players/ phones are all without the AM function.

i have a question, is the radio antenna on the phone or in the head set piece?

@scimo: why do you need radio any more when you have mp3
@iceex2: it's in the handsfree. the cord works as antenna, because there isn't much space in the phone
