When I pick out the firmware I want to use and save it to my computer it says "Windows cannot open this file. Windows needs to know what program created it." What am I doing wrong? Please, please help me! I am so frustrated! Thanks for any and all help! I just want to get my phone back to the factory settings so I can use my MP3 songs as ringtones!
What program are you use ( XS++ or Setool2 ).

Sorry, I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff. I thought I could just click on the firmware, connect my phone, and "PRESTO", it would be done. I don't even know where to begin. All I have done is bought credits. Where do I go from there? Thanks again for your help!

hey can some one send me detailed instructions on how to do this
when i setoll2lite wont read my phone when it try to read the gdfs. it tells me to hold c and connect usb cable but i already did that. Im stuck, can some one plz help me.

Desirae1: Go to the tutorials section. You can use the XS++ guide, it should answer all your questions. Read it carefully.
You other guys need to install the USB Flash drivers or XS++ won't detect your phones.
use setools lite. Just add the main then fs go to misc and add a custom pack and your done. Its as simple as that....
