Camdriver for w580i?

Hi folks,

Are there any cam drivers that make sense for w580i (db2020)? It's got a 2Mp cam with no flash.

I hate to ask, but what is a camdriver. (Sounds like camera drivers... ) would this add options to the camera or something?

Yes. Camdriver features include things like lower (or higher?) JPEG compression on photos and higher frame rates on video. I would like a lower compression option on my w580i, since the default is too aggressive and results in bad compression artifacts.

I've modded the camera driver myself. nothing amazing at 100% compression free.
Just your file size will be bloated to 850+ KB and you'll still see watercolor effects.
Good thing is minimal jagged edges.

I've also set it to higher exposure time, going as far as 16secs exposure during low
light conditions. Terrible noise no matter what. Lowered the ISO speed as well, since
bombarded with noise.

I'll release the camdriver soon over here once I finalize it.
