[K750/W800/K600/W810]-SEUS tutorial

After so many questions about the SEUS (SonyEricssonUpdateService) i decided
to create this tutorial (for WinXP).

Before you start, this need to be installed:

• Java runtime enviroment

• SonyEricsson-PC-Suite

• SEUS-software

• one of these drivers:

• W800-drivers

• K750/D750-drivers

• K600/K608/V600-drivers

• for W810: check your disc delivered with your phone.

• if not installed, get flashplayer here

If you may have trouble with downloading the files above, so please visit your national www.sonyericsson.com site.

NOTE: if have any trouble with firmwareupdate, feel free to ask here!

Let's go:

After all the applications and drivers have been installed, you can start SEUS by clicking on the icon on your desktop.
Once started, an animation will start for a short time and if needed, SEUS will update itself.

The first screen you see after the animation should be this one for a few seconds:

Next screen will be this:

choose your language and press the arrow-button

press the Start-button!

choose the connections of your datacable
(for the K750/W800/D750/W810: the left one)
(for the K600/K608/V600 the right one, but DSS-25 is needed!!!!)

press ACCEPT. If you don't agree, no update will start...

as shown in this picture: F O L L O W the instructions!!


this screen will be shown, when you keep the c-button hold for more than max. 10 seconds:

your phone-modell will be autodetected by SEUS:

If there's no update needed, you may press 'continue anyway'.

When pressing the continue-button or if an update is avaible, the firmware-download will start:

After downloading the firmware, SEUS will start flashing your phone:

Note: 'Please do not touch your phone' will apear while flashing.

When the update is completed, this screen is shown:
