Hi. This is new for me, so i need some help. I want to debrand my K800i. I guess its debranding though. The phone has some buttons that is operator-fixed. (Wap etc). I dont want it, i want my K800i to be original. If you understand me. And what do i need to fix it? I have XS++ 1.68. But im not sure what files and software i need to go through this.

I havent flashed yet. But to make sure here. Im new to this. Do I must have the custom files to? The thing is that I wanna get rid of the brand modded buttons on the phone. I can see there is a lot of different custom files to my K800i. I dont know which one to use. And where is the brand modded buttons stored? In the custom files? Or in the FS?

cool , i debranded my k800 a few days ago , it works fine
The branded stuff is stored in the FS but you'll need a custpack to finalize the phone (it won't work if you flash Main and FS without finalizing). XS has a lot of custpacks for K800 integrated. Connect your phone and check the "customize filesystem" box. Go back to the "settings" tab and choose BreakXS. Then go back to the "flash" tab and check out if the custpack you need is available in the dropdown menu.
first,check your CID 51 or 52, then download the corresponding main file and FS file.
second, check your phone country code through CDA. download the proper custom file. that is if your phone is UK Vodafone, you can use a generic UK custom file.
if you succeed, your phone CDA will be changed.
@Blaster: Of if you are really clueless about what to do and don't wanna take any risks... just pay a little $ and use wotanserver or davinci. Doesn't take that long and you can relax a bit more
