I'v noticed the pictures have yellowish tone when i take snaps from K750i with inbuilt Flash swithched on ...... Is this normal ? or have i some problem with the phone ? ... Or may be the update of camera driver will fix this ? ..... Please let me know as i am frustrated with the excess yellow tone in my photographs ....... Thanks
Where are your photos taken? Usually its best to manually set the white balance. Because when I take indoor photos with that setting at auto, the pictures come out yellowish too. Hope this helps.
I mostly take pictures indoor .... But i'v not tried changing the white balance earlier ...... Now i will try it ....... By the way which WHITE BALANCE setting do you select for indoor shots ?Quote:

ive tried several drivers on the phone and the problem still persists, it could be a problem with the white balance rendering on the firmware because the white LED brightens everything and the software over-compensate to make the picture seem more natural. If possible, try to avoid using the LED on close-ups of anything white. :D

I don't have my phone with me, but for indoors shots, choosing the "incandescent" setting for white balance seems to get decent results.
I normally avoid taking photos with flash because it gives off a bright artificial color. Also when taking close-up shots with the macro setting, the minimum distance from the object is roughly around 10cm, any closer and your photos won't come out clean.

These yellowish dots are called noise, especially they will be more in indoor photos taken at night time. You can use a freeware called "Noiseware community edition" to remove these noise. I use this software and get very good results.

I'm attaching two pictures to show what i mean ... One is taken using flash and one without.... The picture with flash has yellowish tone to it ...... (Both the pictures were taken with Night mode & Macro Mode Turned ON)

You were right ...Fiddling with White Balance setting did helped me ..... For me, Setting it to Fluorescent produced good natural colour with no yellowish tone ....Thanks for the Help :)Quote:
