p990i debrand and latest possible firmware. In 2012 (question?)

Hello, im new here, i recently acquire a sony ericsson p990i, but as i see, (and i noticed people had this problem before), my phone is branded with vodafone (Portugal) and the firmware looks completely diferent from what i see everywhere (well, same ole story)...

I found some explanations about debranding, but apparently sony ericsson doesnt have the firmware update anymore, so i dont know how to do it now.. i red about some x++?? is that right? But all i see is firmware update with seus.. and i dont think im able to do it.

If there is any post where i can find my answer or if someone could help me out would be amazing, i dont like this firmware makes the p990i look just like a just a big phone, and far from a cell phone/pda.

Help needed.
