Need help !! got robed .
Hello everyone
I bought K800i ( Vodafone ) . i am in New Zealand. i am not sure if the phone was New Zealand vodafone or overseas vodafone. so i got it through online shopping.
the seller of the phone told me it was only locked and i bought it for $300.
i then got it unlocked for $80 but now it is saying " insert correct Sim card ".
i think the phone is network locked can anyone help me.
thanks.

So you did not unlock it. What you paid 80$ for? Who unlocked your phone? Or after unlock you tried tu upgrade software via SEUS?
If you payed 80$ for setool unlock via software patch, then yes, the unlocker robed you. For software patch unlock, you should't have to pay more then 15 $. Permanent unlock only with davinci or other servers that use emma card, price like 50 euros

hello, i got it unlocked from a mobile shop and it did unlock the phone but the phone was also saying " insert correct Sim card " and the guy who unlocked it says he wants $180 more for this new problem. and wat u mean by "Or after unlock you tried tu upgrade software via SEUS?".
thanks ( is it possible that can i do upgrade software myself )

Software upgrade possible via SonyEricssonUpdateService, on their website, but upgrading will also upgrade your cid, making phone more difficult, maybe impossible to unlock (for cid52 I think)
Man from unlock shop is a thief, buy a log from davinci server and unlock phone by yourself. 50 euros. You might need service cable, check with davinci first, before any purchase.
Still don't understand what you paid 80$ for????

when i got the phone, phone says "phone lock code" and i paid $80 for this unlock , after that the phone mechanic said " i unlocked this phone but it has another lock (Network Lock) ". i asked him didn't u unlock the phone and he said " i did unlock the phone but after that there is this network lock as well which u can't can't know untill u unlock the first code "

I see, so most likely it's a stolen phone, since the one that sold it to you did not know phone user code...

might be a robed phone, or a damaged phone. thats the catch of buying used stuff online, sometimes even new ones. get youself a service cable and do all the work, reflash and unlock. if problem persist take the phone to a professional technician.

Take the phone to the police and try to find the man who sold it to you. This way he can go to jail and give you a refound. And people, don't buy stollen stuff, you are encouraging stealling...
