z610i

My small review to this nice phone.

I bought this mobile because I wanted a SE and a clamshell - so why not a z610i.
My first impression was: "it's a phone for women" - but I am not a woman...
But after playing around with it, I think it was a good decision.

Pros:
* no green/red key for handling phone calls (open/close is by far cooler)
* standby is ok for a umts-mobile (3-5 days depending on the phone calls)
* SE-Software not only works with outchlook (e.g. lotus notes)
* nice second display
* camera is ok for snapshots
* no joystick for navigation
* _every_ woman wants to touch it (good if you are single ;) )

Cons:
* No IR (for connection to a pc this is still a very simple methode)
* can't see anything on the second display if the sun is shining
* the butons for the mp3-player on the outside are really tiny

No comment because I don't use it
* mp3-player - i have a small creative so I don't need the one in the phone

N1 good review!!! I think this phone isn't a women phone. The phone design is nice it lookes like a window :)

Yeah, Z610 isn't a woman phone, except the vendor has decide it. The design can make woman want to near you, like you have said

I also have bought the Z610 no more than a month ago and I'm totally in love with it. before this one I had a Nokia (piece or crap) 3100. Then, my girlfriend got the Z520 beacuse she had seen it and liked the looks of the white model. To my surprise that phone was great! I still consider it one of the gratest phnoes abailable, if only I had a memory slot there would be no match for it.
In the end, looking for a similar phone, clamp(because its more sofisticated) the one I considered the greatest in comparison, even though it doesn't have IR nor external color display was this Z610. It is really great, the camera's resolution is exellent considering it is a Mobile phone. And the looks of the black one (the one I've got :P) is great. the only negative thing i see in it is that it is a magnet for fingerprints and keeping it nicely clean involves rubbing it constantly.

The Z610i well you cannot that it is a woman or man phone. It is rubbish if you say it is for man or woman. It just depends on you if you think of it that much. Well there are color variants and do choose the right 1 for you. Not all fliptop phones are suited for gals. Try to look at W300i it is also a cool phone...

Well, I never said "the z610 is a women mobile". I wrote "my first impression was..." don't mix it up...

@poustsham: i don't think, that the review on the page si good. There is only a endless follow-up with lots of questions, few answers and many unhappy people - after this you will never buy a mobile...

I only wrote such a short description because most of the people are not interessted in long reports. Nobody reads two thounds words about a small mobile phone from SE. They want to hear: these things are good, that is bad think about it...
But if you are interessted in a longer review - that should not be a problem

I hate the fingerprints tat come again n again on it
