Problem with my K800i phone?

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I connected my K800i phone to my other computer to transfer data. For some reason the PCSuite was not working correctly and it asked me to synchro the files. I clicked okay and while it was creating a backup, the phone suddenly turned off and I could not open it at all. It is like dead.

After reading around, I realized that I have to flash the firmware, etc. XS++ and PCSuite detect my phone when I connect it through the USB cable. But I am trying to keep a backup file before I flash it, through myphoneexplorer.

And here is the problem; MyPhoneExplorer does not detect my phone. It says that it cannot find COM gates. I extracted the SEMC USB Driver on the desktop (I am using XP on this computer) according to this [TUTORIAL] USB Flash Driver Installation - Guide

BUT, that Hardware Update Wizard does not pop out. I went to the Device Manager and look for the USB Mass Storage but I do not have any of that.

I don't know what to do, I must backup my files. What should I do?

ur phone doesn't responding ? if u can't switch on ur mobile u can't connect with pc.
