i got w580i which i unlocked already its from AT&T. when i plug in pc and work with pc companian it says there is software available for upgarde. My confusion is if i upgarde it will lock again or not. how can i debrand so that i can upgrade my phone. Thanks you in advance.
That depends on how your phone was unlocked, patch or code unlock? if patched, your phone will re-lock again and if coded, it will not re-lock back again.
Thank you for the nice and helpfull repaly. I am not sure how they unlock it but can you please answer where can i find the code to unlock and whether i can unlock again by code instead of unclock by patch or not. Thank you
unlocking by code need credit, here's my advice:
1. Flash with generic firmware and check if you phone is locked again, proceed with step 2, if not then your problems solved.
2. If it is relock, unlock it with omnius for full and permanent unlock.
