SE W850i

Hi all, new to this forum and hopefully posting in the correct place :).

I am looking to unlock and maybe debrand a SE W850i.

I have SE tools lite V1.11, im sure ill have to download XS++ or somthing like that.

I am just looking for the best firmware file and a patch for the unlock.

I havent done this in years so a bit clueless again,

TO UNLOCK:
!!! Read first this Remove SIM-lock patch generator
1. select phone model
2. add main firmware
3. add quick acces patch .vkp in MISC files, use this to generate unlock patch Remove SIM-lock patch generator
4.check bypass db2020 security
5. press flash
6. reinsert battery connect phone holding c
7. wait for setool 2 lite next instruction
8. then when setool says remove cable. unplug phone. reinsert battery. click ready. then connect the phone holding c
9.main will be flashed. then the application of patch starts. Click NO to apply patch.
10. wait for few minutes to complete


if you want to debrand it, tell me what language are you using

What main files do i need again, i remmber (excuse the spelling), you need a two files, its just been years since i done this.

an example of files you could use to debrand your phone:
W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
W580_R8BE001_FS_EUROPE_5_RED52
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_14_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_5

if you want to debrand and unlock, first install unbranded firmware, then unlock by patch

thanks, just checking that W580, will work for a W850i?

Are they same phone etc?.

My error just checked my log and it says w580I ha! thanks mate :)

after a lot of messing around lol its flashed, only thing i need to do is install lanauage pack, any idea how to do so.

XS++ does not suppost the w580i, so any ideas on how to do it, will have a browse for a tut first tho.

I think i done it, i used XS++ and use the filesystem manager on there, went to tpa, preset, custom and upload all file from that pack you said to download. Working fine, ringing, txting etc and on 02
