HELP please!! Just updated my k770i and now locked.

Hi guys,

I bought a k770i a year and a half ago and had it unlocked.

Well, the other night I had the brain wave of updatin the phone through sony's site, and not its locked.

I've never tried unlocking a phone myself.

I've got no idea where to start with this, from what program and files i need etc and I don;t fancy having to find someone to pay to unlock it yet again.

I'd be very grateful if someone could give me a link to the bits I need to sort this out.

The phone was originally locked to tesco, but I'm on 3.

All help would be very gratefully appreciated.

thanks for the link. I;ve just had a quick look, and the issue I think I'm facing is that I cant get into my phone, as it just says insert correct sim card

You must have SIM card from operator where the phone is locked.

I wish I did, but that sim got binned just after I got the phone. Is there any other way of doing this?

no other free way, Use Omnius to code unlock though it's a paid service, it's cheap Top Sony Forums - Buy Omnius License
or use D-Ultimate Unlocker
