W395 - Mercy, Please! Help!

I guess I don't have to mention how sucky this phone is. Except for music. And even there, it kinda sucks. It can't keep it's equiliser for two songs! Damn!

But, what I want to know is: Is there ANY help for this phone? I've seen firmware updates on Omnious site, but is it worth it? My phone is Vip Mobile branded, and I fear that after flashing, it will be locked, and not much bugs will be corrected.

I also cannot find a tool for syncing Phonebook and Message. MyPhoneExplorer doesn't support it, because it lacks OBEX support. Does anyone know ANY syncing tool for this phone?

I understand that it's made by Sagem, but to be THIS bad... I'm stuck with it for the next two years, because I signed a contract with Vip Mobile. Even if I buy a new phone (and that's not possible until next year), I must keep this one in a safe place for two years.
