Hey y'all!
I am having a problem unlocking this phone. Either I use omnius or XS++, it just doesn't happen anything altough I precisely follow the instructions:-close the phone(over 50% battery)
-remove the battery(xs doesn't require this)
-hold C and connect the phone(done,done, done)
Still, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happens...it's like I am not connecting the phone, what could the problem be?
Hold 2 and 5 together instead button "C".
Tried it, nothing happens...I'm guessing it's because I have some problems with the phone slot(where the cable comes in)...headphones are a problem because they work fine only in one position and when I listen to music with headphones I have to keep the phone still so the cable doesn't move in the slot...also, when I connect it through the cable to the PC I have to push a little harder and if I move the phone while connected it usually disconnects :(. But still, I tried for n*n times, nothing happens, I'm guessing it should work at least once...and after I connect it, after I remove the cable, the "unconnect device windows sound" is heard.
The only time I do not have problems while connecting something in the phone slot is when I recharge...I can move it, pull it, the phone keeps charging...i'm guessing it's because the metal pins from the connector differ.
You should clean the connector on the phone with a wooden toothpick.
Believe me, I did that a lot of times, it's just useless :(. I'm gonna stick to this phone a few more months and after that I'm gonna change it (it's bought in february, 2008)
Download and install this driver:
ggsetup-2.2.0.5.exe
Shut down the phone,reinsert battery,don't power on the phone,press and hold 2+5,connect usb cable and hold it pressed to the phone.
If not recognized your phone need to be open and replace connector.It could be only oxide problem.
