xperia X1 unlocking & flashing

Why is there so little info on the X1 ?

I have a X1 and would like to learn how to unlock and flash the device.

i found one time a tutorial about how to flash or upgrade firmware on google, but don't remember the site

I looked quite a bit but that one I missed among Googles one billion hits. (need to get better at googling :))
