W850i white screen flashing??
Hi, I am new to these forums. Recently my w850i phone that i use for music stopped working. Whenever i turn it on it vibrates once and a white screen comes up and then vibrates again and stay with the white screen.
I tried flashing it using XS++ using instructions from http://www.topsony.com/forum/phone-x...ing-t6671.html. I flashed both main and FS and also customization file system. When I view FSX it shows the file system tree and I do not find any errors when I connect the phone using XS++.
Now when I try to turn the phone ON, nothing happens but when I connect it to computer using USB cable or I connect the charger to it, screen starts flashing (it alternates between white and black) What could be the problem?

please post full flashing log and identify log from setool or xs. just wanna know what your phone has

I accidentally deleted the flashing log file. I used following firmware files to flash my phone earlier
1. W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED52.mbn
2. W850_R1KG001_FS_S_E_EUROPE_RED52.fbn
and chose EUROPE_2(CDA102568/11) under customize file system
Is this information useful in figuring out the fault? I can obviously see the Warning: IMEI name does not match GDFS name (IMEI:W850 GDFS:K700) :( how to fix this first?

File System and custom pack (CDA) must be sam version.

Your GDFS is damaged. If you have a backup, write it back. If not, you can only repair it with a box.(GSM service).

I did not make any backup of gds :a006, infact i think it was already damaged. What is this box thing which you are talking about?

your problem is either front board damageor LCD or GDFS corrupt. try changing the front board first and if still problem then try other working LCD or give it to a service center for GDFS repair.
