w595 problem - wont turn on bootrom.

Hey guys Im new here,

Im trying to unlock a w595 I have aerix installed, and I have signed up and stuff.

I know I need to hold 2+5 before inserting the usb cable, so I do this.

But the phone will not switch on when holding these buttons?

I don't understand what Im doing wrong. I have pulled battery and sim, tried many different ways..but will not turn on while holding 2+5.

It turns on normally and my pc can find it if I hold no buttons...so the drivers pick it up on xp etc..i installed se suite also to see if that helped...but it didnt.

Any ideas? Any other way to access bootrom?

i got same problem no response from aerix.!

I managed to get this working. I uninstalled the sony erricson drivers from my pc. And followed the instructions again using a different usb slot on my pc.

Managed to get the successful message on the aerix too...but it still says inactive sim. I think beacuse I need to change the imie on it..but thats risky business. Ah well...
