k800 -after master reset stoped working, setoolkit xs says its a k700

i clearly have a k800 phone

and the screen backlight doesnt work

i had a issue with MYPHONEEXPLORER, so i decided to do a master reset on the phone

but then since its not turned on

it stays on the sony erricson logo

so i tried to connect it up to jd flasher, xs, and setool etc...

hold c- put in usb, and it says its a k700 ???????

strange its a k800



its been a while since i have done anything on se phones and i have forgotten what to do next??

uk, 02 network phone is unlocked, it was working fine before master reset!

i think you need to change the keypad set

ok very strange, i read up on forum, and i decided to try flash just a custom (i dont understand what a custom really is)

i chose, K800i_CDA102511_153_R1A_Generic_Trade_UK_United_Ki ngdom.zip

and used jd flasher

now its working!! - i would still like know why it belive was k700

K700 means there is a problem with the keypad flex

wat is one of those? it a k800 phone tho so why say k700
