Unlocking a W380

My W580 recently crapped out on me....again.... so i've managed to get an Fido W380, how would i go about unlocking it? I've checked out a few sites and they said it was impossible but i was wondering what you guys can say about it :)

try with FAR+jdflasherCID53 with anyCID patching

Are there any tutorials on how to do this?
