Debranding W610 ~ Question

Hello,

Can you debrand a W610i with CID53 ? i've noticed there are folders in the download area for W610i, named RED51, RED52 and RED53. Does this have anything to do with the CID version? Like RED53 is to debrand phones with CID53 ?

Yes, if you want to debrand RED53 phones, you must use RED53 firmware:

Thanks a lot, i've been using XS++ 3.1 before, that didn't support CID53

Yes i did.

I can get into the phone and all that stuff, but i have two folders. oflash and ofs. In the tutorial it explains stuff with bflash and bfs. I do not have these. Also i can not access the oflash and ofs folders. It will give me an error.

Show us a picture with the error, when you try to access oflash.

Ok, so this is what i have.

I double click oflash, and get this error

After that it returns to the same menu you get when starting FAR manager.

Use FAR with JDflasher plugin ( step 2. ) from here: Flash K800 CID53 with K810 software CID53 (for begginers) - Top Sony Forums and W610 files:

W610_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_NA_RED53
W610_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_2_RED53
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_11_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_2

EUROPE_2 have following languages: English - French - German - Sesotho (South Africa) - Zulu - Turkish

That worked, surprisingly enough.

Thank you hyperion17 for all your help, after all those JDFlasher Fixes made this all possible.

Also thank you senter, that tutorial was a lot better than the other one. Oh and of course telling me which files i should get, that also helped me.

Thank you guys, i'll go get myself some flash menu's now :D
